Newly Redesigned Body And Interior

Perhaps the most noticeable update to the new Civic is the redesigned body and interior cabin elements. LED headlights, 18-inch gloss-black wheels, and fast-back inspired roofline all help accentuate the more refined body design.

Within, the new Civic sports a more refined interior including a mesh design dashboard that hides the air vents and a wider center console that feels more streamlined compared to the previous model. A new storage bin in front of the shift lever offers a convenient storage location for your smartphone, keys, and other small items.

Exciting new tech updates also adorn the new 2022 Honda Civic’s cabin. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display is offered, with a larger optional 9-inch display. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard with wireless connectivity on the 9-inch display. A wireless charging station makes charging your devices on the go easy and convenient.

Top-Level Performance

The 2022 Civic has performance to match its style and tech upgrades. The new Civic sports a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine with 158-horsepower. An available 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that pulls 180-horsepower is also offered.

Front-wheel drive on all trims is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission, with a six-speed manual transmission offered on a brand new hatchback model. In addition to the general updates, the new Civic will also offer sportier SI and Type-R trims with manual transmission and even more powerful performance.

New Driver-Assistance Features

In true Honda fashion, a collection of advanced driver-assistance features will also be offered on the 2022 Honda Civic. Automated Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection can detect objects ahead and apply brake pressure automatically if you’re not able to brake in time to avoid a collision.

Adaptive Cruise Control semi-automates the pain of driving through heavy traffic by automatically maintaining a set distance from the vehicle in front of you. Lane-Departure Warning with Lane-Keeping Assist alerts you when you drift from your lane and keeps you centered when you veer from your lane.
