Traded a vehicle to Honda of Ocala on 11/15/24 as of today 12/6/24 my trade in has not been paid off. I am now getting late notifications from my financial institution. When you sign over a trade, all of that is based on a 10 day pay off. I have been to the dealership and called the dealership multiple times, and nothing is being done as of yet. I would be very hesitant before doing any deals with this company. Highly frustrated with Honda of Ocala.
At 12:30 they said the car I want. Was there to come on down. I went down at 2:30. It was gone. They said it got sold first thing this morning. My car was taken in on July 2, 2024 as it was not running properly. After diagnosis was done they discovered a wire was missing. Was told they had to order part and would have it fix the next day. It is now past closing time and I have not heard anything from the service team after calling earlier and leaving messages for them to call me and let me know what is happening with my car. I would have at least liked to have a phone call to let me know what the problem is. This is very unprofessional.
When purchasing my vehicle they were helpful and very nice. I recently had a check engine light pop up on my vehicle and go away but I still wanted to get the code read. I am so glad I did not purchase a car here. They have what is called an Advantage fee - approx $3000 - which they tack on to every purchase; but it is not clearly indicated in the advertised price. For instance, if you see a price online for $15000 and don't read the fine print somewhere else on their website, you will find that when you get to the dealership, this fee is added to the purchase - essentially making a $15000 car more like $18000. I wish the dealer had mentioned the additional package fees and dealership fees (about $3K) in the description in the spirit of transparency to know the total price to buy. I know there are taxes, tag, and filing fees which are common and the same across all dealers.

Worst dealer sales ever! Came in to dealer to buy a 2024 Honda Hybrid and trade in my 2012 Kia. Edmunds trade in value was around $32,000. Sticker price on the Honda was $41,280. After taking my keys for my Kia we sat down to talk about a price. After a long delay the manager said they would sell the CRV for $10,000 over sticker price or $51,000. The trade in they would only give me $21,000. (Car Max said they would buy for $32,000). I said no and asked for my keys back.
