The $30K Giveaway contest begins Tuesday, April 9, 2013. All entries must be received by close of business Thursday, May 30, 2013. A total of 6 random drawings will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 starting at 6 p.m. $1,000 dollars will be presented to five lucky contestants. After the cash prizes have been awarded, the final drawing of the 2013 Honda Civic LX with $10,000 in the trunk will be held. Contest must be present to win on May 31, 2013.
HONDA OF OCALA ANNOUNCES WINNER OF FACEBOOK VEHICLE GIVEAWAY CONTEST
Honda of Ocala announced on their website that Carter Robison, an Ocala Christian Academy graduate, is the Facebook Vehicle Giveaway Contest winner. While visiting his family in Ocala, Carter, along with hundreds of other contestants, posted a picture of himself standing next to the 2012 Honda Civic LX, on Honda of Ocala's Facebook page. He ultimately received the most likes, 4,589; enough to declare him the winner of Honda of Ocala's Facebook Car Giveaway contest.
Honda of Ocala's Regional Director, Tom Moore, was thrilled with the entire event. "Social Media is an amazing thing. I couldn't believe how seamlessly the entire contest came together. I'm so happy for Mr. Robison, because I know this brand new Civic will take good care of him for the rest of his college days and beyond." Carter is studying to become a mentor for fatherless boys. The contest was held from July to September 3, with the winner being announced on September 4, 2012. Honda of Ocala would like to thank K Country 93.7FM for their participation in this event and announcing the winner's name on-air.
